16TH ANNUAL MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL

Sponsored by the City of Lexington Recreation and Parks Department. Activities include a childrens international stage with a variety of entertainment, magic, face painting, and fun. Located throughout the park are African American, Asian, European, Jamaican, Latino, and Native American cultural villages. Come experience activities, exhibits, displays and demonstrations by artisans as well as the cuisine of each of these groups.

One of the best events of the year is the CAS annual family picnic! This year the picnic will be held on Saturday, May 19th, at the Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury, NC. This event is for waiting families as well as families who have recieved a child.
The staff at CAS looks forward to this event all year long as we LOVE to see the families and the children. It keeps us energized and renews our energy to keep pressing on for the children. Take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and come!
